    Default longest day ever!!!

    i work in sandy springs.... power has been out since about 15 til 11 a.m. which means our cordless phones DID NOT work, our answering machines DID NOT WORK, our computers DID NOT WORK, and our lights did not work...

    we have 4 phone lines... we could only use one of them with an old school corded phone...

    it was a slow day... 1 ring ever couple of hours...

    nothing we could do for those that called in anyway..

    YET my boss has me man the ONE phone that's ringing once every couple of hours...

    THIS HAS BEEN THE LONGEST DAY EVER IN LIFE!!!!

    seriously.. i sat on a couch with only the light from the windows in the room... just waiting for a phone to ring...

    oh oh oh.. and on top of that.. i couldn't even converse with the clients.. i had to take a number to free the line so we didn't miss any incoming calls...

    so even when the phone rang... it lasted 30 seconds.. and my boredom ensued
