    Default loan question

ok, im going to try to get a loan in the next few days for probally 2 grand. I make roughly 180 bucks a week but havent established my credit but i have a cosigner with a 650 credit rating. Do i have a chance of getting it with the bad economy? Also should i go to a bank or a credit union? Thanks

Damn man you only make $180 a week? Are you a part-time clerk? How many hours do you get? I'm an ER Clerk and get like $370 after taxes.

You're not going to get a $2k loan for 'cash'. What are you trying to buy?

With a co-signer you should be able to get one, not sure though. Co-signer=shit will get paid for some how even if original signer cant pay at the time lol.

That $2k loan will end up costing you 50% or more interest. Prepare to pay back over $4k if $180 is all you make a week.

    Good Luck.

You would want to go to a credit union.. but you can't just walk into one and get a loan. You have to be a member.

I honestly don't think you will get a 2K personal loan

Better off asking your parents. Get a credit card. Purchase some bubble gum every once in awhile to get your credit score to rise a tiny bit at a time. The more you hold out, the longer/harder it will be.

^it works if thats all u buy, but ...with what you make, i dont think youll get a loan, but your best bet would be a credit union.

He can get one, but it will be from one of the small cash loan places. Most of them still let you use proof of a job as your "credit". Then they milk your ass in interest. My Ex use to do it, and hated the payback, even though she needed the cash.

.....if you can, ask the parents like AF said.
