Brett, there will never be the right amount of time to get over something like this. I was 12 when I lost my father and it has been 8 years since then and still to this day if I see something that reminds me of him I get teary eyed and cry. I thought that it would be easier than this to move on, but all you can do is take it day by day even though some days it will be harder than others. I am fairly new to IA and was never able to meet Leisa unfortunately. But by the way you describe her she was a magnificent woman and impacted a lot of lives. Leisa is always around Brett. You may not feel her around so much but she is there. I see my dad from time to time and I know he is there when i need him. Leisa, I am sure is the same way. The way you describe her, she wouldn't just leave you and forget about you at all. If you ever need someone to talk to Brett, I will be here.
