Default Flying cars, yes or no?

Well, Im always thinking. When will people come up with flying cars? Will everyone want them? I wouldnt want one, IMO. Why you or would you keep it original and drive on the road/ground? If everyone decided to have flying cars, what would we do with these cars? lol. Im always thinking about this.

    Interesting.

so no without some serious training, like pilot training, but there are tougher BOC for flying .02 also there is a law of 8 hours from bottle to throttle.

Exactly. The majority of people couldn't qualify.

They are a possibility, but I don't think it's likely...at all. They would have to run completely on autopilot and be cost efficient, otherwise the market/abilities aren't there.

I know all about that one and have for over ten years. I like his use of rotary engines in his "carcraft"

Have you ever seen Top Gear's James May and the show he did on flying machines? It was cool as hell.

He drove and flew the Taylor Aerocar. Here is the video

A valid point I always hear... Do you see how many cars break down as it is? Now imagine them breaking down while FLYING... Ya.. I dont want a friggin' Aerostar crashing through my roof one morning.

I think the reality of it is we wont be in control.

When we get to the point where "flying cars" exist. The "sky highways" will be 100% controlled by computers. This goes from taking off and merging to staying in the stream, to exiting the stream and landing. I really think in 50 years, we will not be driving/flying. It will all be computers.

People have enough trouble with 2 dimensions. I dont want a flying car unless we have a network of computers in charge that can automatically fly them.

Yes, I trust computers over people any damn day.
