I've been on this site daily pretty much from the very beginning of the very first version. I have managed to not bash on many people, and have never been banned. If I can do it, so can anyone else on here. It's not like they are asking for much, just be civil and act like you would if you were talking face-to-face with the other people - in church. Didn't your parents raise you to be reasonably civil? Everyone is over 18, so everyone SHOULD be able to act like adults - at least most of the time.
Now on the other hand, I have a question for vteckidd, admin, Julio, etc - about QD. If we have some newbie come in and post about "how great streetracing is" in somewhere other than the Whoreslounge, and QD comes in and "wishes that they crash and die in a fiery, painful death" (which he always does - definitely bashing on them), ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO BAN HIM????? This cannot be allowed to happen, as the earth would probably stop its rotation and explode......
Ill be honest that will be a case by case basis. If he disagrees with the kid for streetracing, so be it. If he hounds him around IA and posts in every thread the kid is in, then yeah, thats different.

In reality, I think that it is going to be a lot harder to fairly lay down these new bashing rules. While I support them, I think that the mods are going to have a hard time applying bans to everyone equally. More than likely, they will let long standing members, and site sponsors get away with some blatant bashing (and yes, I remember site sponsors bashing on members over the years), while cracking down on those less well liked/funded. After all, who is going to ban a site sponsor? And if they won't ban a site sponsor for bashing, I suppose technically anyone could pay to be a site sponsor and bash on anyone at anytime. Has that potential situation been discussed among the site owner/mods?

yeah its not going to be easy , i agree. Sponsors will be told the same as reg members. they will not be PROTECTED that much, of course they get perks others dont get, because they pay, it works like that in real life too, but no one has said they are getting a right to do whatever they want either.
and all our sponsors are pretty cordial at the moment
