Cig Smokers (and others), why do you smoke?

Seriously though, if I could find a way to quit smoking that would minimize the withdrawal feelings then I'd be all for it....That cold turkey shit won't work for me...Been there, failed miserably.

I heard that quite often. From the gum to the patch, nothing seemed to work. If you have access to them you will smoke them. My pops tried the gum, he said it tastes like shit Spit it out and lit a cig. I miss that stubborn guy, lol.

Tried ciggs once.....didn't like them...still can't stand them, tried Blacks...they are ok every now and then when I'm alone, weed.....maybe once every 12 months. I don't do it often but when I do it's mostly to increase the relaxation factor.

TO be honest, i dont want to quit. I enjoy it too much. THe only reasons i want to quit would be for my health, my teeth and my clothes not smelling like ass. Other than that, the actual physical act of smoking is great.

Nooby smoker - I like the taste but hate inhaling. I cant stand the thought of filtering out smoke with my lungs - disgusting. So I just kinda mess with the smoke, and puff it out. I've had people tell me "You're obviously not a smoker, why start now?"

I've been doing this for about a year - probably smoke 5-10 cigs a month. Weed is cool - I'll smoke some (Water bong only) once a year or so.

What was X like btw?

I started out like you...a pretend smoker.....that didn't last for very long. I'm 30 now and I've been a smoker since 21.....


I did X a lot back in the day when it was still relatively safe to do, if that makes any sense...Back in the day you didn't really have to worry about getting a pill that was cut too bad. These days, motherfuckers use anything and everything....Needless to say, I haven't done any drugs in 9 years...but to answer your question, it's one of the best highs ever. Your ability to feel touch is multiplied 100 times over and sex while on it is awesome...what sucked for me was always a stomach ache after the coming down period and not being able to fall asleep while on it...The high is best while peaking, meaning when the x hits you the strongest.

I actually own an electronic cig. They are pretty darn cool and have a bunch of advantages over regular smokes. That is not a very good source for them though and not a very good price either.

i smoke and honestly the taste isnt that great, and i would quit but its hard when all your friends quit and when your trying to quit they are all smoking around you. I personally use this guy for my supplies although he is out of stock in everything until the 20th due to him moving across the country. I personally love mine and couldn't be happier. I am also vaping 0 nicotine cartridges and liquids, so I have completely quit smoking.

If you don't smoke now, don't start....I started out as a once in a blue moon kind of smoker and evolved into a full fledged smoker with homicidal tendencies if I don't get my nicotine...and yes, there are times when you smoke just to smoke...I do usually when I'm at home watching tv or messing around online....and I generally smoke more if I've been drinking.

True, I mostly smoke out of boredom. Like right now I haven't had a cig to smoke in about 3 days, but I just started wanting one because I read this thread, and because I'm bored out my god damn mind. No TV (I don't like to watch tv, there is rarely anything good on before 8pm), no computer (my boot/start up files are corrupted and hp didn't send me a vista cd so i could repair the motherfuckers so now i'm stuck downloading vista hoping i can boot from a jump drive to repair the shit, on my backup laptop, lulz), nothing to fuckin do.....i feel like smoking a cig.

I used to only smoke when I drank, I loved the taste of beer and cigarettes. They just accent each other like buckets of awesome.

But mostly... I just smoke out of boredom.

I don't smoke but I dip. No, I'm not a fucking redneck or country boy either. I can't stand being labeled as that just because I dip. I started when I was like 16 and I just love the way it taste. I use to dip long cut but I've become very fond of pouches because it helps with teeth and keeps your mouth alot cleaner. I brush my teeth some many times a day because I can't stand having nasty looking teeth. And I usually don't dip but like 6 or 7 times a week. I'm not addicted, I just like the taste and nicotine.
