Default OHMYFAIL!! Anyone know how to break into a 5th gen prelude?!

I some how locked my keys in the car...BOTH sets.....the things is...I left my keys in the ignition when I was cleaning it and obviously hit the lock button and didnt realize it. The windows are tightly sealed up too. I was afraid I was going to mess up the window last time I tried! FAIL!!

I desperatly need my car!! My neighbor has a tool to do it with, but wants $40 cash on the spot. I dont HAVE 40 cash on me. I am stuck at work thanks to me jacking my grandparents car this morning, til 7 tonight and bank closes at 5!!! I refuse to pay a company to come out and do it. It will be over $100 seeing that I live in the boonies out of city limits and seeing that it will be after hours!

    WHAT TO DO?!?!?!?

My dad has a tool too, but he told me that he has already screwed up one of his dealership cars trying to use it b/c he doesnt know how to properly. soemthing about levers in the power locks get hit? I cant risk that either. UGHHHH!!

Come on! I know there are some pro thieves on here!

do you have full coverage? if so, break the window and claim it on insurance.

does your dad have the kit for it? or just the wedge or whatever?

if its the kit, use the wedge and push it down into the crack on the door and the body, use the inflatable thing and pump it up, then use the long ass rod thingy to snag the keys.

other than that, i don't know
i was never good at picked locks. or breaking into cars without using a brick.

Here is how I see it, your neighbor has two tools. If you play with one of them he will use the other one to open your car.

    problem solved.

this is why i pay for AAA. my gf locked her keys int he car once.. AAA ftw.

Also neighbor sounds like he's trying to get you to make some other kind of deal. $40 is chump change. I think he wants to see if you'll offer a dsuck or a hand job. Help the guy out. he's obviously lonely.

If your going to break into it, DO NOT SMASH THE SMALLER WINDOWS!! They cost more to repair.

Doesn't work like that in GA, but check your insurance and your phone to see if you have road side assistance, thats what they are there for.

Ur neighbors an ass. Wont let u use a "tool." Just use the clothes hanger and some luck. Or, if the lock isnt shaped properly, get somethin to pry the window open a bit and force ur window down. Might fuk it up, but at least u can drive

It was sooooo good coming home and opening my door with the freshly made key only to hear the dinging of my key in the ignition. I am STILL trying to figure out how it locked. Once I got the door open I didnt touch the key and I pressed lock again and it FAILED like it was suppose to. WEIRD! Anywho....the new key is staying the helllll away from the inside of my car! To the safe it goes! lol

As far as roadside assistance and stuff....none of that....I live in the boonies anyways so they charge extra to come out here anyways! And my insurance doesnt cover windows unless it was in a wreck I dont think...or broken into.

Thats for some of the lulz and attempted advice though!

it could have very easily been broken into if it was sitting outside.

maybe you also have "slam" locks, not a clue what they are but i can only assume they lock when you slam the door shut
