Stripping has really gone downhill in Atlanta. It isn't like it used to be. Ever since the fall of the Gold Club plus the economy's slump, people haven't been hitting the strip clubs like they used to. I know a good many dancers and they have explained that the only true way to make money is to do some things "on the side" in VIP. People aren't tipping like they used to and once a girl is "known" at a club (ie, she isn't a new face anymore), they fall into a nitch. The customers like to see new faces. Granted, you have regulars, but even they are throwing around less cash these days.

My point? Not worth the hassle. The money isn't there like it used to be. There will be some great nights, but on average, not all that hot.

Jack Galardi owns a good many across the south. Just a few here in Atlanta: Crazy Horse, Masters, Pink Pony, etc.

i agree.. strip clubs are NOT what they used to be.. not many of the females "stand out" anymore... and cash dosent flow like it used to.

I know the girls/people/managers at the Masters better than the Pony, actually. The problem with the Masters is that they recently just underwent a management change and such. Many girls left (others came) when that happened.

My advice is still to NEVER get into the industry. Take that for what it is worth, but I don't wanna say, "I told you so" later on when you feel overwhelmed. I wouldn't do it if I was you. There are much better things.

Dancing is dancing. That isn't hard. However, having guys comment and ask you to do crazy, nasty things in VIP or even on the side is degrading. Don't do it.

Getting in is easy. Saves you $10. Free VIP isn't easy. The girls don't make money unless they charge money. It's a business. 30 minutes in a VIP for free costs the girls $150-200. That 30 minutes could be better used on stage or finding some other customer to take them into VIP.

Unfortunately, the strip club business isn't a "cheap" one in any respect. Money is the name of the game. If you aren't willing to spend it, then the girls will go to someone who will. Remember, they still have to tip out at the end of the night (house mom, bartenders, dj, floormen, etc).
