    Default EBAY / CRAIGSLIST SCAM

Check this out and if anyone is good at tracking down people with emails or IP address and sh** like that please contact me.

I've done this several times and havent had a problem. I posted a $256.00 Walmart gift card for sale on ebay. Username amazonoutlet1 bided and won. He contacted me on ebay and asked me for my email address to send the money through paypal so iwas like okay, here you go. I received a payment by paypal so i sent the codes to the giftcard through an ebay message(big mistake). Here is the scam. amazonoutlet1 made made a craigslist add for 2 G1 cell phones for to $245, and agreed to sale them to a woman i have never heard of or contacted for the same amount as what my giftcard sold for. he then proceeded to give her my email address and she ended up paying me and not receiving what she thought she bought. so amazonoutlet1 has escaped with my $256 gift card.now that dumba** woman that trusted someone on craigslist has this claim placed on me and im left with a negative paypal account balance.

i got amazonoutlet1's contact info from ebay but of course it was bullsh**ed and im sure he made his email [email protected] just for this one scam. he is no longer a registered user. plus im skeptikal this other woman is in on it too.

so like i said if anyone is good at tracking down people with emails or IP address and sh** like that please contact me.

Maybe you can report the card stolen to Walmart and get issued a new code since you are the card holder. I'm sure they could transfer the balance from one card to another. Probably too late now tho.

Since he doesn't physically have the card, it's probably his only option. If he's smart he might be able to get away with it.

he did use it online, i checked and theres $0.38. walmart has a policy that says they cant do anything for lost or stolen cards. i tried to send them a meassage seeing if i could change the shipping information and never got a response. ebay is supposedly investigating the guy. the phone number he put in his contact info was an austin texas number. i called and the guy and he genuinely seemed like he had nothing to do with it. why would he put his acutal number u know. anywayz i looked at craigslist in austin, tx and found his actual adds.

(this one has been flagged for removal. i wonder why. i filled at an internet fraud form at ic3.gov.

Why didn't you just refund the dumb bitch who sent you the money and say you don't have the phones or whatever she thought she had bought?

Paypal usually doesnt just take money out of your account without hearing both side of the story.

Sounds like you handled it wrong

Yea it normally takes like 30 days for paypal to take money out your account after a dispute.

No paypal automatically credits your account pending a dispute against you. I had someone dispute me and they took 145 out of my bank and held it. She doesnt have the money until they decide what is going on. Paypal is holding that money but it sucks cuz it does make an account go negative.

because hen i loose 245 dollars from the walmart gift card cuz her dumbass trusted sum1 on craigslist. at the momemnt i think the only fair thing is for the two of us eating half and take our loses, which would mean me giving her like 125 but then that messes up the paypal investigation.

+ what if she's in on the scam
