Is there anyone not concerned with the economy?

Gov doesn't seem to be doing enough... we need some type of stimulus bill, but limit the spending to what will actually jump start our economy (infrastructure upgrades = 40+% of unemployed construction workers can work)... spending money to research bird migrations isn't priority unless it is putting 10,000's to work.

I think what disturbs me the most the lack of help Washington is... right/left are still trying to figure out who is right instead of what is best for us. I think it is a trickle down effect. If they get their shit in order then the masses will follow suit. 1 Trillion dollars really isn't alot considering we have spent that basically on a war that hasn't brought us any return on the investment.

it wasnt just bush that approved the troops to go adn the money spent...and im also saying that they are wanting to act stingy w/ the money seeing how screwed up the economy is because of the accumulated debt, alot of which lately came from the current war/wars

Im worried about the economy cause there seems to be a more prominent "doomsday scenario" with this recession than any other. Im sick to death of Congress and our GOVT, both sides of the aisle, i see a massive civil uprising in our future. SOmething along the lines of 1776

AND the people we have to trust to make it happen. Partisan bickering MUST end, and serving the needs of the POPULATION must become the first priority in Washington. If it doesn't happen soon, rebellion will ensue!

u missing what i'm saying..i'm not talking about the benefits of the war..i'm saying they had no problem spending countless dollars to fight a war to kill people, but they have people over here, suffering, in their own way and need some kind of assistance (monetary obviously and jobs) but they dont want to let the money go because america is already in so much debt...
