No, not everyone, but I'm a special case. You see, I've been clinically dead for over 5 minutes both times. I've been dead...I've been there. I'm honestly not afraid. I don't wanna die right now at this point in my life given my wife and whatnot, but I'm definitely not afraid of death or dying. If it comes for me again, so be it. I'll face it head on yet again.Originally Posted by silversol

After seeing your post, I thought about my accident aswell. I remember seeing everything white, as if I was going blind then I couldn't feel nor hear anything, then all of sudden you see/feel/hear everything. Just think about your head going through a window at 60 MPH....that's how it was for me.Originally Posted by Ruiner

my head went thru the windshield twice at around 75 mph the first time and about 40-45ish the second time if that makes any since. i was going down a back road, yes speeding like a tard, went thru a turn that is not balanced right, car under steered and went straight. causing me to hit a bank at a angle making my car launch into the air and sorta barrel roll flip twice before slaming into a power pole knocking it up out of the ground and in half. i hit the winshield once when i hit the bank then again when i hit the power poll. not saying i have been thru worse than others but still trippy. cause when i felt my car heading into the bank all i could think was o shit o shit fuck here we go... then im crawling out of the driver side window. shit seems like it takes for ever tho...Originally Posted by HeLLo iM iZzY

nope. it's the circle of life.
Mufasa taught me that.
Of course, everyone is. Anyone that denies it is either lying or doesn't realize it.
Does it affect my day-to-day life? NO. I don't think about it, ever.
All of you, wait until you are older, with a family, kids and a wife. A life, built throughout the entirety of your life, and tell me you don't fear losing it all. Tell me you don't mind NOT waking up next morning to this. Tell me you don't mind it just "ending".. Tell me you don't mind leaving all your loved ones that depend on your support behind.. Tell me you don't mind becoming lifeless matter in a coffin..
You KNOW that me given what I have been through, out of everyone, is not afraid of death and no, I'm not lying.Originally Posted by Frög

If you know what you've got coming after death, and you truly believe that everything will work itself out back here on earth among the living, then what's there to be scared of?![]()
I'll admit that I am. I can get into these deep thoughts about it and I'll just start freak out and start pacing around in a circle or two, kinda go crazy for a couple of minutes, lol. Kinda funny if you ask me. But I try not to think about it.

I am an atheist, I do not believe in any kind of afterlife or reincarnation. Am I afraid of dying? No. Do I want to die? NO!
I am afraid of being gutted and watching my guts fall to the floor while I am still alive, now that would suck.
like i'm not scared of dying at all... i am scared of dying young for a dumb reason and not being able to go through growing old, raising a family, etc.

I am not scared of death. I am scared about the manner in which I die.

Nope, If I died right now I'd be 100% fine with it.
One Big Ass Mistake America
If you want to get in details I simply think death is nothing. When you go to sleep each night, do you remember the moment you fell asleep? Would you know if you never woke up? I don't believe you would. To me, death is just sleep. You just never wake up to know you never woke up.
Based on that I can say, death isn't scary. Dying is. Knowing you are about to visit that unknown void. That is scary, but death itself? Just go to sleep...
Wow, I agree with you, WTFOriginally Posted by Maniacurabus06
Yes I am. Even though you KNOW its going to happen, you don't know when or how. Furthermore, whether you are religious or not, you don't REALLY know what happens when, or rather, after you die. When wrecked my car, I had the thought of dying. All I saw was a tree and a ditch. I thought the worse, scared shitless I tell you. Thats not near as bad as the accidents in this thread, but you get the point.
I'm scared, I think, because I have a lot left to do on earth.
im not scared for me,hell ive died once already.....so the end is no surpise i know what happens kinda.
im more afraid of living without my GF or family.
