Keep in mind that some businesses/corporations figured out that they could pay Carlos less do do the same job that John was doing,thus reducing payroll. "They took our jobs" isn't really "their" fault, but thats how it's viewed in the eyes of those not familiar with business.

They would pay Carlos less because that fucking beaner is too lazy to learn english. Now, if I were in his position I'd be getting paid more than John because not only do I speak perfect English and Spanish but I am also a hard worker.
