If you are going to get HD, get DirecTV. Much better guide and channel selection.
we r paying $99/month for our bundle but after x amount of months the price goes up :-/

Yes, DirecTV is WAY better than Comcast OR Dish. I've had Direct for 13 years now, and I'd never even THINK of switching to anyone else.Originally Posted by tmoney11286

only reason i never had Dtv, is my friend has had DTv every since i known him. And when it would rain they couldnt watch TV, this was a few years ago.. but it always sucked on stormy days. But im sure it has gotten better now..
I have comcast HD. It's alright. It's a extra $20 a month, and to be honest I probably watch 4 hrs of HD programming a month. I called them last night to see how much it would be to hook up to our 2nd TV, and it's another $20 a month. I think they should give you a break on a 2nd, 3rd TV.
Most of what I watch is downloaded (720p format) using my laptop, and connected to the TV. I should just cancel cable all together.
i have comcast HD... its alright i guess, though honestly if it werent for my roommate i doubt id have it, i barely watch tv as it is. its nice every now and then though.
DirectTV + HD + DVR = pure win.
I like my Comcast HD has worked for me and I enjoy it. Never had a problem with it.
I get all the channels that I would want to watch in HD so no complaints.
I would consider switching but everytime I go somewhere and watch something with bad weather... the owner says "This never happens". Well it happens everytime we try and watch anything roflmao

i gotta pay an extra 20 a month for POS HD? thats a scam..i've got comcast too...switched from Directv..will NEVER be going back, but crap, an extra 20 bones a month? forget that.
currently my bundle is cable, internet and phone for 99 dollars
I have it and I have not had on complaint. But my boss has AT&T which goes through fiberoptics, and that shit is stupid good
HF
i have comcast hd with dvr and so far it is very good. Nothing like watching Summer Glau in HD (terminator).
I got free clear tails with my ride.....

You don't put it in/pay to have it put in.Originally Posted by csmiths98AV6
Your neighborhood gets wired with it. If you see a lot of AT&T trucks running around your neighborhood and tearing up the ground, the area is probably going "green" (getting lined with fiber optics).
If you have questions about AT&T's advanced TV options (whether it be UVerse or DirecTV), please let me know and I will get you an answer.
