    Default Cop Car Question

I've noticed that Doraville police has always had "faster" cop cars.

When everyone else had Caprice Classics, they had B-body Impala SSs...same thing with Crown Vics. They had Mercury Marauders. I just saw a Mustang GT cop car the other day in Doraville.

    Forgive my ignorance...but what's up?

They have to keep it in high demand for faster cars, because everyone are getting faster every year....Some police city county's cant afford high end cars but some car...I just saw a spalding county with a SRT8 charger 6.1L hemi and yes they are fast lol....

I am sure they might have gotten it from a drug bust or something but they have one now!

Yes, doraville needs fast cars to chase people down for the entire 1 mile that encompasses their city lol

its always the little BS cities that have the fast cars.

    Doraville
    Duluth

Duluth has High Speed Traffic enforcement on the side of their cars lol. again all 2 miles of their city limits lol

these cities just like to show off all the money they rake in from citations and DUIs when in fact they are just little city cops.

Most of their cars come from seizures (typically drug busts). They either get the car directly or they buy it with the drug money that is confiscated during the bust.

In Houston county they put super chargers on their crown vics. But with all that weight with the electronics it kinda cancel's out.

They have faster cars because they know how to post in the car talk section when talking about cars.

my office is in the doraville area.. so i kinda know whats up.

they give citations. never warnings. they'll get you for anything. my co-worker for "dark" tint. me for having a truck in a no truck zone. < most ridiculous ticket i got. lol. and you cant argue with them. they're always "right".

they make so much money giving citations, they can afford that stuff.
