    Looks like Texas is going to get hit but LA might still get some bad weather. Last thing they need right now.

    if you go to the national weather service site...there are like 5 storms out there right now...

    Yeah I saw that but this is the one that is causing the most concern at the moment. But it is weird to see back to back hurricanes in the pacific almost on top of each other.

    Happened last year also, lost a friend of the family in the Gulf during it when i was in Basic. Funny thing it was the same FEMA director so yes, he did have some creditinuals (SP?) as far as dealing with storms, just this year NO ONE expected it to be that big, so all hell went down.
