Don't let them promote you to anything salaried. It's guaranteed that you'll lose your job within 3 months. while my fiance was there he went through something like 4 district managers, 3 store managers, and a couple of regional managers or whatever is above district. And he was there for 6 months.

Actually, it wasn't "something like" it was indeed four different district managers, (Hope you guys work for Tywon McKenzie guys. Truthfully. If he's still a DM he's the best the company has) three store managers (with a fourth who arrived literally three days after I put in my two weeks). And a handful of region-wide changes to management. What store(s) are you guys going to work at?

Oh, and they do INDEED do drug testing, but only if you're involved in an incident that involves damage or injury to the store, yourself, a customer, or a customer's car. Essentially, don't fuck up.

And seriously. The best job at Jiffy Lube is the one where you get shit on the least. Courtesy Technician's don't get many chances to fuck up a car, get to drive all of them in (Means getting to sit in some nice cars, every now and then) stay clean for the most part and have the most braindead easy job in existence. Their pay is exactly the same as the Lower Bay tech, who sees the burning hot underside of 20-30 cars a day and has the possibility of fucking every single one of them up somehow and is coated in oil from the cars and works in an oil-soaked pit that never comes clean no matter how hard you scrub. You figure out what's good.
