Generally they lock you up, but because it's at the pigs discretion what to charge you with you may or may not go to jail. I got a street racing ticket when I was 17, which I was not arrested for, and a reckless at 18 which I was arrested for.
Get a lawyer, or the next year or so of your life will be very boring, and you can almost count on not getting laid. Although if you keep your game face on you can still pull it off.

Especially when you're dealing with ignorant ass, wanna be military type, high school drop out cops. You just have to help your lawyer along, because they're usually used to playing bitch.

I play by the rules now... I just make the distinction between reasonable laws, and laws set in place to generate revenue. I also make a distinction between someone driving like an asshole, and endangering the lives of others, and someone doing doughnuts in an empty parking lot. One is a victim less crime, the other might not be, but the charges could very well have the same consequences. It's easy to view the law in terms of black and white, but I tend to see it in shades of gray.

if u plead nolo wich means u dont admit guilt but ur not fighting it and u get a reduced fine but it only works on traffic offenses if u get a lawyer ask him about it and hell give u all the details

i called the lawyer and he told me we have to change the "racing" to something else
so i have to plead not guilty

Pleading nolo for a racing ticket is pointless as your license is going to be suspended anyway, and your points will start from zero after your reinstatement.
Nolo should only be used to avoid a points accumulation, for a large speeding ticket, that would result in a license suspension, like the ones they hand out like candy on halloween to people inside the perimeter.
You should go take defensive driving before you go to court.
No he cannot. He needs the other driver to prove his case. The judge will take your word over the cops in court. After all, he's just a stupid pig that likes to abuse his power and ruin everybodys night. It's not like you were putting anyone in danger.
