A small (very samll) amount of nail polish remover on a soft cloth. Then wash the area down with hot/warm water.

Rubbing compound. Just be gentle. Ive had to do that before.

Or, I shit you not, use a magic eraser. Ive gotten thick sticky shit off my white wheels with the magic eraser.

Are you talking about the magic eraser or rubbing compound?

bug remover and magic eraser.. remember that Volk wheels have anodized clear coat and not a whole lot is safe for that.. Someone suggested using warm peanut butter, apparently the oil will take just about any stains off.

Man Im not going anywhere near peanut butter right now, screw that lol.

Yeah. You would be surprised at what the magic eraser can do. I took the film off my headlights with that damn thing too. Everyone kept saying get Meguiars PlastiX and I just grabbed a magic eraser and took that shit right off.

    For instance,

    http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...ductId=1791171

Just like Red said. You can get them in like single packs also, and different brands. I used a different one from the Mr. Clean one, and it worked great. I think you can get them at the grocery store also. I think my mom gets hers from Publix.

not a bad idea, but my wheel isn't white, it's an anodized clear coat, so i dont know if there's something in that, chemical wise that may fuck up the finish.. :\

    Just trying to help man.

Try calling Volk tomorrow and asking them what you can use? They probably know what would be safe and not damage the finish.

I would need a better pic to see what that crap actually is.

But if rubbing compound doesn''t work. Sand the clear some and you can either try to hand rub it out with extra grit or try to use a buffer that can get in those tight spots.

Either that are reclear it. ;o]~

Yeah, thats why I recommended calling Volk. They should know what would be safe to use since they made the wheels. They can probably give you better advice than any of us can. Good luck though.

bug and tar remover man...i'm telling you...just try it. it doesn't have to be sticky. hell, i've used bug and tar remover on paint rubs (like when someone bumps you). it's only a few bucks...i've got some here AND i've got a magic eraser lol. atleast you know it won't damage the finish. my second suggestion would be the rubbing compound....anyhow, good luck
