There is a big difference between the speed on sound and the speed of light..

Sound: ~340 m/s
Light: ~299,792,458 m/s

Sound has resistance, light has relatively none..

everything has resistance, it all depends on the medium its in, light goes different speeds through different mediums just like sound does.
