Economy is not taking a shit on everyone.. Some people are actually better off with such economy.. I know several people including family members that are making more today because of all this..
Personally, I am not making more money than I used to, but my purchasing power has gone up..

I don't make a lot of money, but I don't waste a lot of money.
I bring my lunch almost everyday, cook at home most nights. I do not have a netflix account, a PS3, or an XBOX. I do not buy songs or movies from I-Tunes. I don't get a new cell phone every couple months. I don't go to the mall to shop except for maybe every 2-3 months, and even then I only buy 1 or 2 things. Most things around the house I do myself instead of paying someone else. I wash my own cars, and do all the maintenance myself.
Everyone is different, some people enjoy those things, and don't mind spending the money for it. I myself would rather save that money, and splurge on a vacation, or save up to pay cash for a car.
Damn. Good for you man. Reps. I wish i could do that.

You don't know that. They may sacrafice other things to afford to have 2 cars. I could easily waste $200-$500 a month on those other things and not really notice it.
