Default Shipping a car, anyone done it?

Well the S2000 might be sold soon and that means its time for the next car, but its in California. Looking for a couple companies to give me some quotes on shipping a 1982 Corolla Wagon from Milpitas, CA to Snellville, GA.

I would do it myself but I think I have a job lined up as well and if so I will be starting within the next week or two. Things are finally starting to turn around for the better.

I got a quote a while back from San Fransisco to Atlanta and it was ~$900. Are you even paying that much for the car...?

I have the best company you will ever deal with.. I just bought a car for Christmas in New York and had it shipped here.. I paid about 1/2 what other companies were trying to charge me..

Call Elizabeth at 931-583-0224.. Tell her Chris from GA sent you, she will give you the best deal ever..

It is family owned, her and her husband and they are phenomenal! Words really cannot describe how good of a service you get..

DENAN D&T, MC and DOT certified and Fully Insured..

    Also, go to uship.com

You place and auction stating you need a car shipped from CA -> GA and transport companies bid.. You can accept the lowest bid or negotiate with them.. Sometimes you get a really good deal when someone is already transporting a car in that direction and has space for another one..

Total car shipping was very good with me. The price was very good and amazingly they got here in time.

Its Door-Door, They'll pick your car up the very next day with no extra charge.

Well right now I am working with:

    Dependable Auto Movers
    Aaall States Auto Transport
    Flofield, Inc

I just posted up a ubid auction so hopefully I will get a few more offers. Everything I Have received so far as been in the $800-900 range for a 3-10 day shipment, $1200-1400 on expedited service, and $1600 for enclosed trailer. The prices are definitely not as bad as I thought they were going to be.

uShip.com is a great place to look, you can find some sweet deals, but i would go with someone highly recommended over cheaper.

My best friend owns a business and they specialize in shipping from West to East coast. For a small car like that they should only charge close to 650-800.

called chris and no answer. I will try again later today. I would rather the people be local like him so I can talk to them in person. I dont know what it is, I think i get a better feeling when i can see and meet the person that will do the towing. Might just be me.

    THANKS
