Ok so im helping a elder man fill out his lottery card, no biggie the guy was like 70 something. After i help him, this younger lady comes up. Throws 5 blank cards down on the counter in front of me. I was like that gentle man is a lot older than you and isn't in the best of shape when it comes to reading or writing. she stormed out saying i don't believe this, OBAMA will change things like this. I hear this on a daily basis from African_americans that get pissed because i will not enter 5 different combos of numbers for their lottery. Um, no......the owner was, if I recall correctly, caucasian. Secondly, if he made a McCain cookie and called it "McCain Macadamia" there would be no issue. If he called this cookie "Obama Chocolate de Presidento" there would be no problem. He called it a fucking NEGRO cookie. If a black restaurant made a McCain Cracker, he would catch hell from everyone. His store would be burned down or spray painted with racial slurs.

My mom was the first "black" to work in a bank in Gainesville, Ga. She still has the newspaper with her face in it. The only 2 other blacks that were allowed to work there was the owners driver and the cook. Ever since that day, she was always the token black lady in the workplace. She was Personel Manager at Mead Corp until she retired a few years back. She always told me to never accept defeat and blame no one for a short coming.

Kids (teens and adults) today need to understand that the past should be motivation to do better. Racial slurs are used by those that hate themselves. Whether they be rich and successful, or poor and lonely......they still hate themselves. That goes for black and white, brown and yellow, blue and green (just covering all bases).
