    Default Random DMV question

Alright, so most of you are aware at my odd license situation ( where I have a valid license, only no actual ID for 30 days )

Anyways, I gotta park my Starion. We replaced the clutch and flywheel, and I think recently a flywheel bolt came loose. Friend's garage won't be available for awhile, and its best that I just fix the little nuances I've put off on the car.

    ANYWAYS

I also have a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Had some stuff that needed replacing, preventing it from recently passing emissions, therefore the registration/tag expired. Now - do you HAVE to have the actual, physical drivers license ID card to re-tag a vehicle? Or can they accept other forms of valid ID ( along with say your drivers license # etc etc )
