Emissions? SERIOUSLY!?!?

Alright, called up my buddy and asked him about what exactly failed. According to the test results, it said the on board computer is not ready to test, it has no collected enough data. I know the car was driven a good week before the test. I'm really questioning that tuning program.

I'm having my buddy look for the tune-in-a-box so as to remove the tune and return the tune to stock. Have the car driven a while. Would it be wise to do that or take it back to the dealer I got it from and tell them what's up?

That doesnt sound right. If it drives, the computer works. Something is keeping the computer from readiness. No engine light, and no readiness.

Mine did this a few weeks ago, but when I ran the readiness test on it, it was a no cat and 02 sensor not allowing it to pass.

Do you have the emission slip from before?

There should be a list that will say passed or failed beside it...

While I don't have it in hand, I had my buddy look it over, and that's all he said the form said. I don't know...

I'm looking at loopholes in the system. If I can get the car out here to cali in time to mail in the "out of area" waiver, and not pay late fees...I may have a way out... It's due on the 27th of February...
