I'm exempt. Car is registered in GA. As long as I pass in GA, I don't have to pass in CA. Military specialty. Also, if I can't get the car to pass tomorrow via driving it around and going to the emissions place. If it doesn't pass, fuck it, I'll get the car out here to Cali and get a letter from the C.O. saying it's out here in Cali, and I won't have to deal with the damn thing... Unless for whatever reason once it has a "fail" on record (if this counts as a fail?) it HAS to pass before they'll renew a tag? Anyone know about that?
