Gotta also consider that a good 75% of men, if not more, get all weak and turn into whipped little children around girls they're attracted to and basically allow themselves to be manipulated haha.
Probably another reason men allow themselves to be manipulated, so they don't have to deal with the aftermath of not giving in, lol. Even the girls have to admit that when guys give in all the time it takes aways any fun and challenge in the relationship which in turn leads to the girl directing her attention elsewhere.
I would get all psychological and shit in here since I'm bored as hell, lol, but I'll save that until a few more people give some input.
