My 2 points of the game.... The calls all night were bogus, but that one "safety" call was absolute bullshit. He never went down, and I never heard any whistles.

Point 2... Brooking is done, I've said it all year, I love him but his days as a starter are over.

It sure as hell looked to me like the defender was still trying to pull him down. It was far from a given that he was going down... And if thats the way they are going to call it, they need to change that rule. So everytime you are wrapped up by one player they are going to call you down before you ever go down? bs. I understand when you have several guys pushing you back, but this is one guy, holding on to a QB who doesn't even look close to falling down.

Also, forward progress is only for catches and rushes... he was passing.

That is not an accurate statement. The NFL is quick to blow a whistle to protect a QB.
