Alabama had nearly an identical SOC as Boise State, maybe that would be a better game.
This proves a bias toward the SEC. Voters don't look at what a team is doing NOW, they factor in history of a program and even future potential. An imperfect, unfair system.
How sad is it that a team with the NCAA 79th SOS can be ranked #1 for 5 weeks and a team that went undefeated with a harder SOS isn't?

As for your SOC rankings, not sure where you got them from. The rankings I'm seeing put Utah and Bama right on par with each other.

"Was" being the key word there. I don't give a damn what Alabama's SOC ranking was earlier in the season, I'm talking current rankings, to which 'Bama is nowhere near the top at this point.
