You know what really pisses me off about weed? The names. They're starting to get fucking dumb, and half of them are made up. I remember a week after Pineapple Express came out, some guy suddenly had Pineapple Express, and everybody believed him. It was fucking shameful.

And btw, what you're doing is technically illegal. Cali is just the best place to do it. Fuck feds man, weed laws should be decided by state government.

And the one-hitter is indeed the best invention of all time. Right up there with food and shit like that.

and you are right, technically under federal law what I am doing is still illegal, but my states government defends my right and just recently the DEA came to CAlifornia and participated in a pro-cannabis rally and held hands with patients in support for our right to use cannabis as medicine. ( they did not change the laws, but they are not busting sellers and growers in this state anymore )

But I have to disagree with you about the names. Purp from one Strain is different from another strain. G13 is different from which grower you get it from. If you look at the different cross Breeds of G13 you will realize that I am not getting the same shit. There are like 15 different types of G13. 50 types of purp haze. There all different, but when it comes down to it, I all about the look. If it smell dank, and looks dank, it probably is dank. It could really care less what it called. If some just said that they had some dank nugs with out a the naming bullshit I would be happier b/c it more accurate and I am not expecting the same high.

My favorite is some good B.c nugs when I am vancouver. Man that where it at.

What you say is true to an extent.. each grower may have a different method to get maximum potency out of their plants and by doing so will effect the quality when compared to the same strain grown by different methods.


the strains are a rule of thumb.. basically.. when you know the accurate name you can pretty much anticipate the genetics to swing towards more indica or sativa regardless of the growing medium.

But you must have the accurate strain name to identify.

purp is not a strain its a street slang used to identify the flowers that bloom with purple colors.

but i hace had purp which are as follows

purple haze
grand daddy purp
purple Ercle
Gods Gift
Purple dot
and that is all I can think of at the moment.

The Gods Gift is the best purp strain out there and it is truely an amazing specimen.


The fact still reamains that Genetics in cannabis play just as much of a role as the genetics in every other living thing.

A rose is a rose, a head of lettuce is lettuce a tomato is a tomato and a potato is a potato

but you have big budding roses and mini roses, you have iceberg lettuce and romain, you have vine ripe tomatoes and roma tomatoes, you have idaho potatoes and red potatoes etc etc..

All plants will grow differntly under different conditions and even though they are different common similarities will take shape when you grow the same strain because the genetics cannot be altered in a plant without cross breading.. and cross breading is an entirely different topic..
