Default ATL People - Traffic question

Does any of you live in Buford & 316 Intersection and commute daily down to 285 (Dekalb area)?

If so, how bad's the traffic during peak hours (7-8 AM and 5-6PM)?

    Thanks for the help

daily, it jams up around pleasant hill and stays slow from there until 285.

once you get passed 285 it clears up until midtown

Everyday! Average is 45 to 1 hour from Lawerenceville to Dunwoody but that's dealing with the traffic lights on 316 before it turns into limited access with exit ramps. I tend to run the right lanes on 85 since the left 2 or 3 tend to stop for no reason at all, lol. Definitely take the far right lane after the Indian Trail on-ramp a mile or so before Jimmy Carter then cut back in left. Normally the far right lane after the Jimmy Carter on-ramp is open as well since they have the retarded on-ramp "i don't know how to merge" traffic light before getting on 85.

This week commuting will be as good as last week, too bad I'm off lol!

Thank you guys. You're awesome. Repped.

So the traffic usually occurred around:

316 - Lights before it turns into access hwy
I85 South - Pleasant Hill - NOTE: Keep right and cut back to left side after passed Indian Trail.

How about I285 East South from There to Decatur? I know there's traffic going north, but don't know if there's traffic going south.
