My fireplace smells like rotten animal
yeah... and i have a dog nose, it's retarded sensitive. i can't do much else but smell that shit. i'm def not digging in my fireplace tonight but in the morning i'll make sure to let you guys know what i pull out lol. fuck i gotta get this smell out of here though. ugh.

well i checked it out and there wasn't anything in there that i could see... i think it's just musty and stanky. i think we're just going to build a fire. i just hope to god that nothing catches on fire in the flue. fire in a trailer = scary shit. it's like building a fire in a can inside a cardboard box.

eh we just built a small fire. we'll see if that helps. i did find a dead bird on the roof though lol.
well after my g/f went to go light a candle cause the fireplace stunk again, she found fucking MAGGOTS on the carpet in front of the fireplace and i lost my fucking mind, i took the inside pieces out of the fireplace. didn't find shit because there was still sheet metal surrounding it but it def. stankeded much more when i took the back piece down. well i didn't mess with it anymore cause it was like 10 and i was tired and was afraid of what i'd find lol. anyway today my g/f just sent me a text saying there was a dead rat behind the rear wall. she and her dad found it this morning which is good because i was going to stay somewhere else tonight if they didn't find it while i was at work lol. i can deal with bugs and creepy spiders and shit but maggots were too much.
but anyway. no pics cause i wasn't there, but apparently it smelled god awful and they sucked it up with the shop vac lol.
:whew: now we don't have to smell ass everytime we watch tv.

not anymore. Ms. Clean said it was nothing but bones and fur so the maggots must've just gotten hungry. i'd say it's probably been dead for a while and the people that lived here before were fucking trashy so i'm sure a little dead rodent smell didn't bother them with all the dogs pissing on the carpet and they're kids breaking windows and shit.
there's rat poison under the house now and behind the wall where this one was found, and she said there is nothing but a desert under the house so that's good. but now we just have to finish off all the maggots with lots of bleach and traps and shit and this should all be done.
