That's REALLY weird.

why is there sperm on the back of it?
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I take it they gut it of any functioning things like controls and all? Obviously no engines included?

funny thing, the spaceshuttle cant go into clouds or icing conditions AT ALL

Did you guys ready the terms? F that, what a rip off!
Like you could just fly into space anyway. LOL
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?

Look - either be bumping or buying, but don't ruin my FS thread please.

Yeah, they are insanely delicate in weird ways.
And yeah I would rather have a MiG, I think the available rush would be FAR greater lol.

If a space shuttle is too pricey, NASA is offering some of its shuttle main engines for anywhere between $400,000 and $800,000, not counting shipping costs
so 800000+ 1000 for crx = greatest honda ever!!!!

Wow this would go great for my collection. I don't have a white one yet. I'm sick of having to cruise around in the same color space shuttle two days in a row. Most un-baller.

I'll take it, wire transfer is ready to go. I have 2 Nigerian friends who each have 25 million dollar bonds ready to go. They will transfer both bonds to you then you can give me 8 million cash back and the shuttle. You can fill it with fuel and keep 2 more million dollars if you would like.

There were a few accidents in my other one... which is why I brought this one out. These things rarely crash if you keep oil in them and stuff. I keep 'em loaded w/ Royal Purple and change the oil every bazillion miles.
Comes w/ racing harnesses, and I will throw in some MREs.

The tail cone is put on the rear of the orbiter when it has to be flown back to the Kennedy Space center. It makes the Shuttle more aerodynamic while piggybacking on the 747.Originally Posted by Halfwit
And the shuttle can get wet, It sits on the launch pad 45+ days before launch, But they uslally will avoid all weather disturbances when flying it back on the 747 due to keeping all risks of damage to the orbiter and also the 747 doesnt exactly fly as it can without a big ass shuttle on its back, so they keep it as smooth as possible.
I still think though as stated in the article that the Shuttles will be extended past 2010, because Obama does not like the idea of the United States having to rely on Russia to get us to the Space Station for the next 5 years while the replacement is tested and built. I for one hope they do extend the time line.

The thing is 20 years old now and was based on 20 year old concepts of engineering. Considering that Nasa gets less than 1% of the federal budget I hope that Obama gives them a BIG increase. The last that I saw of the replacement i wasn't nearly as big. The replacement looked more like a "shuttle" to the ISS more than an actual repair delivery exploration vehicle.
If you ask me there will probably be 2 vehicles that NASA will use now. The replacement for shuttling astronauts to and from ISS. and the shuttle will most likely get used for the moon trip. I still don't understand why we are going there and not Mars. Unless the moon is being used as a stepping stone.

no it can get rained on but cant FLY through weather. its for multiply reasons,Originally Posted by QUAGMIRE
one its only certified to fly in VFR weather,
two when flying the rain will damage the tiles they are extrememly fragile,
three there is no deicing available on the shuttle so thats another reason it has to stay clear of visible moisture(structural ice can only form when visible ice is present.)
just like fighter jets do not and cannot fly into known icing conditions due to them not having an anti ice system.
also the shuttle produces enough lift in flight to cancel out its own weight. food for thought. but you are right-o about the tail cone.
