I was banned a while back for using a word that was allowed. The rules never stated anything about what I did wrong, but I was banned and then the rules were changes after I continually pointed out it said from Julio anything goes in the WL.

What makes it ok for the rules to be changed after I am banned when at the time I didn't break the rules. I was given a book of excuses and tried to make sense of it. Never did.

In the same breath, I was banned for something deemed offensive when someone else was not.

That made me really dissapointed in this place, and I was treated like an idiot and turned away by two admins, and never got a response from Julio. That isn't right in my opinion.

Also, the fact that so many fucking people complain about the userCP, but no one will take the time to fix it.

I've heard the things. This place is free. Blah, blah, blah. But never really adds up to make this an enjoyable place.

Just my since you seem the most receptive of the higher ups so far.

As for having a hard time getting a hold of an admin, they have a lot of stuff to sift through; if they catch a hint of insolence or rudeness, your question may get buried. Think of it as how they say if your job application has an error, it gets dumped in the trash. If they don't think you are being reasonable or it looks like you just want to start a fight, they may just decide you aren't worth their time. Not saying that's what happened, but it's hard to get 100 PM's a day about stuff. And for the record even I have a hard time getting answers from Julio; he's just a really busy guy.

User CP is a problem way above any of us; Paul and Julio themselves have said they wish it worked. Admins are the only people who can mess with code and the nuts and bolts of the site, and it looks like they can't figure it out. Which makes it VBulletin's problem, and who knows how much stuff they have on their plates.

I know you've heard it's free, and I'm sure you do see the logic in that. At the same time I'll admit people use that as a blanket excuse. If it makes you feel any better, there used to be a ton more mods than there are now, and the site was WORSE. At this point you are either a mod to watch over just your clubs forum or car make (meaning you don't have power anywhere else, though you still have the mod icon below your username; so you can still bluff like you can do stuff) or you are a super mod. It's definitely the way to have it, I don't know if you remember how much people didn't like the moderating staff like a year ago. I know there are still people who talk about "fuck the man, fight the power" or whatever, but we have sealed up the leaks and that has let us communicate a lot more and make informed decisions/act as one.

Now with all the BS that goes around in the WL. Plus these rules.

- No more REP me I REP you thread. 5 day ban without warning.

- Keep material 18 +

- Cannot Bash sponsors

- No bumping threads 1 year or older more then twice a day.

- You can post pictures, But make sure they are wortless pics ( not pics of your car , your house ) BS PICS. Stupid **** you find online is OK.

- No links to Video unless the material has been already posted in the video section of IA.

- ONLY ADMINS CAN LOCK & MODERATE THREADS in the Whoreslounge ( Paul & Julio )

- You can call whoever the **** you want out

- You can bash Mods & Admins <--- Only in the whoreslounge ( as long as you keep it CIVIL ) Not "SUPER MOD B IS A ****".. KEEP IT CIVIL!!!

- Mods and Admins can call anyone out < ---- Only in the whoreslounge same rules as regular members. KEEP IT CIVIL

- When calling someone out : We will keep a close eye on it. Once me or paul see is getting a little to INTENSE ( involving family and real personal **** ) we will delete thread. Keep the the call out Between 2 members and not outside of IA. When Family starts coming into it, it will get locked.

- No one will get banned from something said in the whoreslounge!!! ( Unless you start posting the same **** over and over) Like making 1000's threads TITTLE THE ADMINS SUCK ****

- No Alter EGOs - AUTOMATIC BANNED ( 1 week ) Get caught a 2nd time AUTO BAN 1 Month 3 strikes , PERMA BAN


These rules only apply in the WHORESLOUNGE. If you do it in any other section of the forum, More then likely you will be banned.
We will give you "3" warnings if this behavior is used outside of the WHORESLOUNGE.

I felt as if my banning was unwarranted. I sent so many PMs and asked about this, bolding the "say whatever you want" and "can't get banned for anything in the WL" and was brushed off by Jaime mostly, and I believe Paul didn't do anything.

It really soured my opinion of the forum as a whole, when the leaders don't follow the owners rules. The banning also came during a time when I was in the middle of selling/buying parts and the only forum of communication with the member was PM based.

I do realize Julio is busy, but when Paul basically told me it didn't matter.

And I do see with the mods and the sections they stay to. I think everything is very organized and well put together. I don't recall having too many problems outside of that incident I posted about.

Eh, IA is just not as enjoyable as it used to be due to minor things you have all changed, which is not that bad considering I still post here. Mainly its the content and all the fucking tools on this website.
