chances are its more than one update.

a Firmware update for your PS3 and also a game update for a game such as COD4. there was a major update for tha game as well.


you would need to determine which update it is actually.

personally if it was the firmware update i would want to find out the root cause thats keeping me from downloading the sony firmware instead of trying to go around it with the flash drive method.




are you hard wired or wirelsss? if you are wiress try hard wiring just for the time being to get all the updates and then switch back wireless.

We were able to update the games, but when we tried to get online, it said to update. We are wireless, but we tried to ethernet from one computer to the system
