Haruka Tenoh (Sailor Uranus) was too butch and had a lesbian relationship with Michiru Kaioh (Sailor Neptune). They're were some of the oldest characters in the show and by far the most popular gay couple. Not my cup of tea since they were excessively dike-ish.

Tomoe Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) was by far the best.
