.. its like you cant drive past 12 till 6, has anyone violated it?.. if so how much is the cost..cuz i just got pulled over ..-_- .. and im about to get class C today

in all seriousness, i think this is correct. anything more than... i wanna say 23 over is an automatic suspension if you're on a D license.

Being over 18 won't help you. 29 over is gonna be your liscense is gone if the judge doesn't lower the speed. Class D is what matters, should have gone and gotten that class C. At least then you wouldn't be getting in trouble for the time violation. You'd still have the under 21 years of age so 4-point-offense or more means 6-month-suspension. And yeah, I am serious.

Suspension in this case has nothing to do with driver's lisences class, it just aggravates the problem and guarantees the judge won't be nice to him. For those of you 21 and over who haven't replaced the "Under 21" logo around your liscense, the way the law is written that means you can't buy alchohol. There's not MUCH enforcement of that part, but it's there. The reasoning being that I could tamper with my liscense and swap a few parts and be magically over 21 a few months (or years) earlier, whereas that big Under 21 bar they add around everything is harder to get rid of.

In OP's case though, he's lucky he didn't get Reckless driving and get a 12 month suspension.

OP: Probably. You're still in school right? Then yes. That isn't up to the judge though. And don't believe anything the Judge or Solicitor tells you about not getting a suspension. Suspensions come from the Department of Driver Services (State office, the judge and Solicitor are COUNTY unless you got stopped by State Patrol, but even then the DDS is separate) If you sign a sheet of paper saying you plead guilty to anything that puts 4 points on your license or otherwise falls under those suspension categories, your license is suspended on the spot, even if they don't take it from you. Have known several people who got six-month suspensions only to be told they wouldn't, go out driving, and get stopped again and lose their license for ANOTHER six months for driving without a license, even though they were never told it was suspended. Good luck fighting that case too, since the judge and the solicitor will immediately just tell you that you misunderstood them. Their job is to process tickets quickly, they will do lots of things to get you out the door pleading guilty, because that's what the voters (And both are elected) want to see.
