i have a class C now!
Not sure if its legit now, but I talked to a friend that was 20 at the time that got a ticket for over 26 over and he went to the court house, paid the ticket, and was told that he was clear. A year later Honda(where he workED) had to fire him for not telling them that he lost his licneses for 6months and was drving company cars. Problem was....he didnt know. Sooo uhh..what they are saying. GET A GOOOOOOD LAWYER and fight that shhiiit! Good luck! I guess....
I got ticketed for that a long time ago when I had forgot to change it once I turned 18. I just showed them that I had it changed when I went to court and they dropped it.
good luck, i was ticketed 31 over and the judge knocked it down to 13 over. $308.
i was lucky.
^ lucky you man
I posted in this thread before knowing how much you were over.. I think if it's 24 over and more they will suspend your license, give you 1 yr probation and maybe even community service.. PLUS BIG FINES! The fact that you were on a Class D is just icing on their cake, but if you've switched it now, they will probably drop that fine..Quote:

okay, i went to court, plead Nolo and they dropped my speed to 23 over.
my fine were 200 dollars and have to take a class and 16 hours community service
whew, not as bad as i thought
LOL u plead nolo
yaeh i did
I was rocking my Class D till like 2 weeks before my 19th birthday. Never got stopped on it for anything other than speeding during normal hours.
i went to court today too... for an expired tag ticket lol. showed em my registration, got it dismissed, and walked out of the courtroom 20 minutes before i was even scheduled to appear. bizarrely efficient for cobb county.
^^ you're a good citizen
I got that same ticket. It was 12:30 and i was less than 5 miles from my house. Cost me $140.
And what in the world is nolo??

wow. im glad i didnt get comm service. i got pulled over doing 102 in a 70 bout 3 weeks after i got my class d (i was 16 then). state trooper too! lol. he dropped it to 100 on my citation. got a lawyer and took a defensive driving class. went to court in the county of speeding. pleaded guilty. got the case transferred to my lawyer's county where the judge knows him. paid 600 bucks with no suspension or comm service. lawyers ftw.
damn 16, lolQuote:
