The whole mma trend started right after the first season of tuf. I was into cage/mma fighting way before that and immediately noticed how everyone started wearing ufc/tapout shirts and walking around like they were professional mma fighters.

Yea I agree that most of these "super fans" never watched it back in the day. I have all kinds of ufc and pfc shit on vhs haha. Actually im guessing most of these d-bags never watched pfc period, which was a lot more fun to watch then the ufc.Originally Posted by Maniacurabus06

It's sad they went under. It was way more exciting to watch then ufc, and more competitive then the ufc is. Im glad to see some pfc fighters being integrated into the ufc. I bet all these ufc nutswingers don't even know who sakuraba is haha.Originally Posted by Maniacurabus06
The thing with UFC is that there is too much hype directed into it. The sport is booming but with them making a new season of tuf and this whole new trend the real sport and admiration of it is slowly fading.Originally Posted by The Creeper
People are NOW watching it because EVERYONE else is.
And Gracie vs Sakuraba was an epic battle. A lot of people probably don't know that about Gracie is that he started out in PFC. And now look at him, a coach on tuf. lol
Haha I know man. Sakuraba Vs. Silva were some epic bloody ass fights, it sucked that Sakuraba never beat him. So many epic fights in Pride that blow anything ive ever watched on the ufc.Originally Posted by Maniacurabus06
Also, not that a lot of people realize it, but Saku actually fought in the UFC. Mainstream/Post TUF viewers don't really know any history though. Sakuraba's roots are pro wrestling, and that's how Pride was formed, so that's how he made his way into Pride.Originally Posted by The Creeper

Anyways though, I was at taco mac the other night, and every fag in there looked the same. They were a bunch of dbags with sideways hats half the time, with tapout shirts or affliction, and all seriously looked like one inbred family. This was at the taco mac in woodstock. Sad sad sad.
