Since User CP is still not working right...

I had an idea. If you leave reps for someone, include your username. That way they will know who it was from, and could return some reps if they wanted.

Over the last week or so I have received reps from a few people, and would like to return the favor, I just don't know who they were from.

example of what I type as a rep message: (Allmotoronly) Nice Ride!!! +6
or (Allmotoronly) Good point. I agree. +6
or (Allmotoronly) GTFO noob. -3.

etc...

At least this way, until the User CP is fixed, you will know who left you reps without having to ask a Mod.

There is one flaw to the idea though. If you make a lot of posts, you probably won't feel like looking back through each post to see who repped you.

Yea, but if the person you repped doesn't look back at the thread, they'll never know who left the reps for them...

It's just a matter of taking 2 extra seconds to type your user name. If you don't like the idea, fine. I really don't care. It's just an idea.

when you rep someone, after you click positive or negative, if you choose to leave a message in the message bar of the little rep page, just include your own user name in the message.

Like I said, it's just an idea. A lot of times people rep without saying something or quoting you in the thread. Then (until user CP is fixed) you're stuck guessing.

I usually don't post but once or twice a day... I only go through and look if I have like 30 more points than the previous day, or whenever the last time I checked.

I usually don't really care. In fact, I usually don't check my reps that often, but today when I got on I noticed that I had like 40 more points than yesterday. I can't figure out who gave me the points. I would like to hit them back, but since user CP is broke, I can't figure it out.
