Losing weight isn't that hard unless you are lazy as fuck. Eat right and get on a damn treadmill once in a while.
fucking yes. they act like they cant stop eating little debbies, or if they do 4 pushups a day they "deserve" to eat watever they want.

I was 6'-4" 225 before playing indoor soccer then lost 15lbs the first month with one game a week and no practices. Months later of playing i'm still at the same weight. I don't like the sluggish feeling when you put on extra weight so I can't imagine what it's like to be overweight, I'm sure it's a snowball effect that easily worsens if you try to ignore it or have health issues.

The most disturbing thing is nearly every morning I see overweight women eating in their car on the way to work. Honestly, do they really need that sausage biscuit from Mcdonalds? Overweight leads to stress, stress leads to eating, eating more than you burn off leads to being more overweight. It doesn't fix itself. Put the cigarette down and eat some fruit.

Last week I was at Club Opera, normally packed with gorgeous fun women, this time 50 to 75% of the women there were grossly overweight. Not sweating dancing their ass off at least making an attempt at bettering themselves but most were just standing around depressed. I was so disturbed I almost made a thread about it. I love to watch people, especially watching guys fail miserably at their efforts, but the last thing I want is a fat chick staring me down in a club. Disturbing.

Wasn't there a club that restricted overweight people from attending? I'm down. It would be a GREAT incentive for overweight people to look and feel better and be able to get in, a goal to work towards. Having a clipboard at the door to sign and that instantly makes it a private club which should mean anyone can be legally turned away for any reason. Am I an ass for this? Sure, I'll agree with that.

Back in seventh grade, I weighed 135 at 5'5. I played two whole seasons of soccer coed, and lost 33lbs.

I know. I played midfield. I think I read somewhere during an active game, a midfielder runs around 5 miles. then practice everyday ... shit was exhausting the first few weeks. I was out of shape. by mid-season, i could outrun all the boys. it was a coed team, but i was the only girl.

i say if you are out of shape or weigh more than average people, start playing soccer. you lose weight doing that.

I'm 5'8.. started out at 175lbs then got up to like 225lbs at one point and time but it was a good mix of muscle and fat. I ate and lifted like a football player would. It wasn't until I decided to join the Air Force did I attempt to lose weight and I'm around 194 now.. with 14lbs left to go.

I totally agree on the extreme obesity thing. To let yourself go a little bit I can understand but I see women well over 220lbs shorter than me who see no problem with their condition. Personally I feel like healthcare wouldn't even be that big of a deal here in the U.S if obesity wasnt so bad.

    I'm fat and admit it.

But there are numerous factors that play into it. I eat one meal a day usually. Not even all that big or unhealthy. I usually try to walk around the neighborhood at least 2-3 times a week (havent because I have been spending time working on the new house). Genetics do play a big part, but I am not motivated enough to spend every waking minute exercising.

The problem is, people starve themselves and work out all the time because they get so hurt when someone calls them fat. Then they feel like they are better than someone else because they spent every waking minute trying to lose weight.

Same with social aspects. Someone may have all the money in the world but look at social interactions. Whats more important? Having the cash and no one to share/ do things with, or having a little cash but having quality friends around to spend the time with? Bought friends are not real friends.

I don't add up to casey at all. He has his own house at 20, and a really good job.

But for what I have been through I think I am doing ok
I'm just that guy that spends all his time printing.... T-shirts, banners, vinyl, etc.

and its not that great of a job. its a normal job for my age. nothing special. i dont make that much, but its not how much money u make, its how much money u save.

its all about how you want ot live. i didnt say that since i lsot weight, that im all of a sudden better than everyone. i jsut know it can be done, so i dont want to hear fat people say "i tried to lose weight and i cant" thats bullshit.

yeah i dont socialize much, but how old are you donny?

id rather have great friends and good social life when im 23-25, hell i cant even go out now and drink with friends, so why waste the money?

id rather go ahead and do the hard shit in life, then enjoy life later on. and if i die before then, o well.
and jsut because we all know what you have been through, doesnt mean you know what i have been through

its an old chinese way of living. they spend there entire lifes working hard and living like shit so that they may rest and relax in there old years. im not that drastic, but live by it to an extent.

You just admitted you eat one meal a day. No food equals no metabolism which means lack of energy, can't remain healthy, and can't lose weight.

Unless you were born with a metabolic disease then the only thing that may be hereditary is how many calories you burn while you sleep, or basal metabolic rate, which you can change by exercising and eating at the right times.

Eating 5 small snacks a day is far healthier than one meal.

1 meal a day? thats messing with your metabolism badly.

I don't know if thats an attempt to lose weight or you just aren't hungry, but starving yourself is a bad way to lose weight.

Just to add for anyone trying to lose weight, the most general advice is eat a moderate sized breakfast, drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, and look at food labels, etc. etc.

i guess after actually reading 16 effing pages of shinanagins i might put in my two cents about skinny people...

I have been 5'5" at 103-110 for 9 years... no lie in that. My weight moves around though. 7 years ago when i was in wrestling i was fit. Some abs, toned arms... not muscle woman by any means. Stopped working out lost muscle... gained fat.. stayed the same weight. Now, without a job, my weight is starting to surround my stomach... sadly, and will be leaving shortly. I'm not fat, but I can tell.

I eat... all the time. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and very much in between. i have a very high metabolism. I can't eat extra lean meals or dietary ish because they don't provide enough nutrients, fats, or carbs for my metabolism. Being skinny is great, but where what fat you have is the problem. Eating something in the morning, working out for 20 min starts your metabolism and is one of the most effective ways to add to your workout/lose weight plan.

... and why the fuck does everyone change the thread when autumn posts? tell me that... you claim she's an attention whore... but you do nothing about it. Seems to me, if you have annoyances with her... not saying i do... you would ignore her instead.

    Again... just another input

YOUR TELLING ME. you could eat all the time and be the exact same. i eat a meal, throw it up, and still gain weight!! LOL
