Its a tasteful redesign, but they are spending alot of money for such a tight economic period. This release only hints at all the promotional and ad related money that will be thrown into this new mustang.

That is not to mention that they changed every body panel almost unnoticeably from the previous years, which eliminates year to year part exchangeability. That equals higher retooling costs and overall manufacturing of parts. This will lead to higher valued parts from the factory.

Is Ford making the profits to support that? I hope for Ford's sake that this redesign is sensational and sells in incredible numbers.

The way I see it, the people who liked the 05 redesign will like this one and those who didn't wont. That doesn't justify the marketing and manufacturing investment that they just sunk.
