This entire system is set up to make everyone believe that the race is about red vs. blue. The people are all passionately divided on issues of trivial importance, without realizing they're supposed to be electing who they think is the best candidate. And the media is to blame, above all others the media continues to perpetrate this mindless bipartisan bullshit, rather than focusing on candidates who would actually turn this place around. But that's because the people who own the media have a vested interest in exploitation, and getting what they want.

People should be rioting. Not because their candidate didn't win, but because neither is going to do a whole lot to fix things in a timely fashion.
