Honestly though, I have a few friends who are signed up and don't post because they do not like the bashing and the drama.
The people who told me this do not even know each other. So its not like its an isolated incident. I do not know the details of a few of the stories.
I put that out there to try and help out IA. I have had customer service based jobs for years.
What about making some myspace banners for everyones page?

IA can be a useful site. I. And its good to see the small amount of female enthusiasts. I would like to get more females to join.

How many of the 28K are active though? That's what really matters. I think we should concentrate more on updating the front page with articles that are less than 2.5 yrs old.
you make a great point about updating the site, but honestly i dont' always have the time to sit here and think of shit to write nor do i get out to events like i used to. you would think it would be really easy considering all of the pro photographers and college kids on this site w/ nothing better to do then to surf the RLD section but front page has been stagnate for a reason... lack of contribution.I can sit here, and register new users all day if you want 30K.

i am updating the site this weekend w/ new features/coverage and layout... hopefully it may encourage some people to step up to the plate and contribute.

In the last 3 month traffic is down 36% .. but pageviews are up 13%
