That's not an asshole.

That's just a fucking psycho. An asshole is someone who doesn't acknowledge anything the girl says or does. When it comes to paying for stuff he usually acts like he'll be paying then immediately before the girls says 'aww' he says jk or bitch please. Then she'd say, 'ugh, you're such an asshole.'

Taking control of someone's life again, is something a psycho would do. Not an asshole. Haha, trust me on this. I get called an asshole all the time by random chicks. Especially when I first meet them.
