Default Wanting to get some coins appraised...

Anyone know of a place i could get this done at...

my grandfather has given me some coins... not many, just a few really.. and i'd like to see their actual worth... every site i visit says something diff... and go into details about how one coin can be so diff from the other yadda yadda yadda...

i just want an appraisal not someone who is gonna give me a low ball offer on what could be some nice coins!!!

Honestly, it is easier to look them up on the internet to get a good idea of what they are worth. I have MANY coins that inherited as well, we looked them up and got a general idea. But otherwise you might have to pay someone for their professional evaluation

Go to a book store and buy a coin book. They have all types of them. The book will tell you how much its worth in the condition that its in. Not circulated, perfect, good, fair and poor. Every type of coin you could imagine and they come with pics.

unless the book was made in the last couple of days it can't be too accurate.. the price of precious metals is changing constantly...

i mean, yes it would probably be better than nothing...

i'm taking them in today though actually to a shop in marietta.. an actual coin shop. not a pawn shop...
