Hey DJ..is it amicable or what? Are you guys going to be civil? In agreement on how your posessions will be divided? No kids? If so then save yourself the money, and file for it yourself. You're gonna end up paying money for something you can do yourself.
If it is going to be an issue where it'll be struggle for whatever reason then yes, get a lawyer. Again, I recommend Mark Hill, in G'net. Best lawyer ever.
