Thats hot. Its true though, ur suposed to be glad that all their worries are gone and they've gone to a better place. Ppl you lose sometimes come back to let you know they are ok. my dad told my mom he was alright a lil while after he died. Some may not believe in some of this stuff but theres alot out there thats real whether you believe or not.

like i said its helped me a lot over the yrs and I know its helped the family as well.

I can't tell you what it is like to lose a spouse but I have lost 2 ppl that I was very close with not to mention others but him and Leisa hit the hardest and it will stay with me forever

Ive lost a few relative myself all which were pretty close to me considering my family is pretty split up. and yawl dnt realize how much memories mean and actually help. i was 6 when my dad died and he took me everywhere with him, i started working on cars with him. its been 22 years now and about a year ago i freaked out bc i realized as the years passed, i couldnt even remember what he looked like. my mom hid the pics (out of sight, out of mind i guess). i mean at suck a young age i guess u dnt really absorb memories and retain them. I got 2 pics on my bar now so i know what he looks like. So brett hang on to them memories and pics man, she knows you wont forget her.

Be happy for her that she dnt have to deal with the worries of the world. that the struggle is over for her. Tell her "Baby, ill see you when i get there."

I am truly sorry for your loss Brett. I have followed your posts since the beginning, and your love and devotion for Leisa has reminded me of how much I love my wife. I had been taking her for granted a lot here lately and you reminded me that I need to cherish her as much as I can because I never know when I will say that last "goodbye" or "I love you". Thank you for showing me light Brett, you have truly inspired me. Once agian I am sorry.

Ive atually been thinking about that....i asked my brother in law to watch over her and make sure she knew that we loved her or I would kick his a s s next time I saw him...and I know what he would tell me right now tell us all right now.... JUST SMILE

I know I keep thinking about Greg about how much it hurt but everything has come full circle everything he used to tell me everything CJ used to tell me makes perfect sense now....it didnt then but now i have to smile...just like Leisa no matter what we have to make the best of this bc its who she is. a wonderful person that taught us all so much.

I didn't know either of you personally, but I'm sure your wife will me smiling as she watches over you just living your life. So celebrate her life...try not to dwell on her death. Brett even after the years of you and I running teams in competition had slowed, Leisa always managed to keep in contact with me in one form or another. Our last conversation was her wishing me a happy birthday (from other replies I’m sure she did this with a lot of friends on IA). Anyhoo I didn’t want to celebrate and my old arse was not happy to see this particular year, somehow knowing this with my short reply she sent a note back making me feel good about the time gone by. I will miss her bud, please know that you and your family’s are in my thoughts and prayers.

Brett man there arent words i can offer to express my condolences. I know quite well how you feel at tthe moment one of my closest friends father passed and the funeral was today. It'll be hard but Im sure she is up there with Val and my old buddy Ade driving around not worrying about gas shortages. We'll all see each other again and when we do it'll be the most bomb ass meet IA will ever have. Until then man stay strong as long as you remember her and love her the way that you do she is never truly gone

I know we have only met once or twice, but as you know Tiffany and I were friends with Leisa for the past 5-6 years. She gave us soo much advice in our marrige through out the years when we had problems and it was always sound good advice that we always used and will continue to use the rest of our lives. Everytime we talked she was always the type to lift you up when you were down, or joke and make fun when you were up. These times will never be forgotten ever. Tiffany and I lost it last night when we finally read that she had passed. Tiffany and her were just talking a few days before the stroke about having lunch together so she could see the boys and how big they have gotten. She came to visit right after Cohen was born and she always loved when I would post new pictures of my children. She was like thier honorary godmother.

She never had a bad word to say about anyone, even when drama presented itself on my forum she always kept her cool and tried to work things out with people that were rude, I hope one day I can be half the person she IS. She is leaving an amazing legacy behind that you,Brittanee, and Brandon will cary on forever in her honor. I only got to see her in her mother role once a while back when we had a Dave and Busters meet and I could just tell that she was a great mom and Tiffany has taken cues from her to use in her everyday mothering life that she will cherish forever.

I want you to know that I know we dont know eachother all that well but if you ever need anything please dont ever hesitate to ask no matter what it is. Leisa you will be missed greatly forever.

And to who is going to put together the car wash/car show or whatever else you are doing for a fund raiser count me in 100%, I will do whatever it takes to help out and can bring some things to sell and donate all the money to the Lowenthal family.

I was just at a lost for words when I heard the news. I never got the chance to meet you or your wife. But, I feel as if I've known you forever....

Life is filled with ups and downs and sometimes is a hard thing to deal with. This whole situation has made me tell my wife I love her every chance I get and to hug my son all the time.

I can't imagine how or what I would do in this situation. I can only offer you my thoughts and prayers and hope you over come this tragedy and proceed with your head up. I know Leisa would want you to do that.

Again, I'm so sorry and my prayers are with you as they were from day one.

Brett, I just can't believe Leisa's gone. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers, as I've kept you and Leisa in my prayers before her passing, but just know she is at peace and with God now. Stay strong and look to God for strength, as you have been doing already. If you put everything in His hands, He will get you through this. I know we have all been praying for Leisa's recovery, but God in His wisdom has taken her back to Him and given her peace. Now, I just pray that you can find peace in Leisa's passing, knowing that she is no longer suffering and is with Him. Thank you for allowing me the honor and privilege to visit Leisa in the hospital and hold her hand and pray with you during that first week. I will definitely be there Saturday to say my farewell to Leisa, and give you moral support.
