I had no clue what "racism" was until i moved to the south. At first it was hard to grasp that someone would automatically hate another person based solely on the color of their skin, or even that someone would get completely beside themselves with anger over a word....but its real. I grew up in Riverside CA....i never even knew the word N1gger existed until i was in 8th grade while attending Rome Middle School. WHen some white kid referred to my best friend at the time as such. yes i watched the white kid be beaten within an inch of his life....and yes my school friend was arrested. Neither really accomplished anything, but its still something i will always remember. I have been in a few fights, but mostly with Hispanic/whites and never because of racism or over internet lulz...it was usually over much more selfish things like who gets to play street fighter next or too much alcohol and a bad night lol. I have myself been guilty of jokingly refering to ppl by their racial stereotypes and or racial slurs.....but no more so than what has been directed at me.
I do wonder though, if ppl take me seriously on here most of the time...I've yet to meet someone on here in real life an have a single issue with them...i would be interested to see how many ppl would try to start sh!t with me in person because of something i've said over IA
