State Farm. I've heard from the some body shops that they're very fair, but I've heard from some people on here that they're gonna gyp me.

Just be glad its not nation wide! A year ago I was sitting at a red light, and some bish nailed me in the rearend and then fled the scene!
They wouldn't give me crap for my newly repainted 95 240 with a rebuilt motor and tranny. Total B.S. I wish I could have gotten a lawyer.

I know, state farm does their own estimates though. And according to the body shops I've been to said they will probably total it ($5600-$6300 damage and kbb=$7700 and NADA is like $6300).

ya they should have someone come out and tell you what they think it should be...then you take it to where you want it done and get an estimate and go back and forth until you settle on a fee. then they give you pain and suffering which is never that much and you submit your dr bills and blah blah blah
