Default Good place to get a loan?

I need a loan for my car (auto loan/personal loan), so I can go ahead and pay it off. I don't know where to go tho. It's a 01 BMW 325i with 121,000 miles (highway miles) I tried BOA but they don't do loans for cars over 99,999 miles. Where you think I should go/do? I bank with wamu and they only do Home Loans

Damn i hate when sellers say that type of ****, like someone has a house on the Interstate.

How long do you need to finance for?

Liz- give us more specs like asking price etc. They will charge you a very high interest rate, regardless of qualifications. You might be better of taking out a home equity loan, just manage it responsibly.

Or maybe a Remote Credit Union, if those exist.

    That's a workable price.

I would do a home equity line of credit, if you are a homeowner. If you go to a bank, if the loan officer is honest, they will let you know that the rate WILL be high.

I don't care about the rate being high. As long as it isn't nothing stupid like over 14%. Nope not an homeowner either.

Ok, based on that, just call around and make sure that the first thing you ask is if they do loans on cars with over 100k miles.

Check with the smaller banks first.

KevyKev has probably given you the best advice so far.

Can I ask why you need it paid off asap if that's the case?

Have you thought about maybe refinancing the loan?

Look at all those offers you get in the mail. 12 month 0% apr, open one and do a balance transfer. When the year is up, repeat step.
